1. The use of gloves cannot replace hand hygiene.

 2. Hand hygiene should be performed before putting on sterile gloves and after taking them off. 

3. When gloves are damaged, perform hand hygiene before replacing new gloves. 

4. Do not wear the same pair of gloves when nursing or operating more than one patient. 

5. When wearing gloves for nursing or diagnosis and treatment operations, gloves should be replaced when moving from a contaminated part of the same patient (including incomplete skin, mucous membrane or implanted medical equipment) to a clean part.
